Heavy Combination (HC) Licence
Need an HC Licence?
ALLTRUCK DRIVER TRAINING is recognised by Roads and Maritime Services as a provider of heavy vehicle training and assessments for drivers wishing to obtain heavy vehicle driver licences.
A heavy combination licence allows drivers to drive any prime mover with a single semi-trailer, or heavy vehicle plus a single trailer greater than 9 tonnes GVM. Automatic/synchromesh and Unrestricted/Constant Mesh gearbox endorsements available
To enrol in the Heavy Combination (HR) licence training course, all participants must:
- Have held a Class MR or HR licence for a least one year. P2 licence holders cannot upgrade to this class.
- Complete the Roads and Maritime Service Combination knowledge test and obtain a Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) learners logbook and guidebook
Drivers upgrading to the HC licence receive up to 9 or 11 hours (depending on the applicants choice of licence restriction) of training and assessment time, for the initial course fee. If additional time is required for an applicant to reach a competent standard, a discounted rate will apply.
Our training and assessment systems satisfy the RMS requirements for Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA)
Training starts at our Horsely Park premises (Near Eastern Creek and Wetherill Park)
